Me in a trip to Paris, catched off-guard smiling

Isaac RF

I build software and games — and write about everything that happens after you ship.

I've been building software since 2010 — for banks, HR platforms and mobile apps. In 2015 I started shipping games and products of my own too, including a six-week build that reached far more people than anything I'd made before.

Today I lead engineering teams, which means I spend as much time on what gets built and why as on building it. The rest goes to products of my own, and to writing down how they actually do — monetization, AI, and the decisions underneath, numbers included.

What I write about

Building products

Architecture, tooling, and the decisions that decide whether a product survives its second year.

Making them pay

Pricing, launch, distribution. The half of product work that technical writing usually leaves out.

Growing as an engineer

Leading teams, AI in real workflows, and the parts of a career nobody documents.

04Speaking

Sharing what I learn

A collage of talks and conferences I have spoken at

I speak at conferences and meetups about engineering leadership, product decisions, and what shipping your own work teaches you that a job does not.

Most of what I write starts there: a question from a talk, a decision I had to defend, or something that only became clear once I had to explain it out loud.

05Interests

Other things I make

A collage of some interests and hobbies I have

Videogames got me into all this. I like taking them apart as much as playing them — they're art and complex systems at the same time.

That same curiosity pulled me into drawing, animation and illustration, on paper and on screen.

I also build my own furniture. Woodworking is the one hobby where nothing compiles and you get one go at the cut.

And electronics: circuit boards, robotics, a bit of home automation. Mostly an excuse to build something that physically does a thing.
